– Yardstick or tape measure
– Fabric (54 inches wide)
– Sewing machine/ needle and thread
1. First, you have to take the tabletop’s measurement by using a tape measure or yardstick, and then jot it down on your notebook or paper.
2. Get to know the right hang or drop of your tablecloth and then add an inch to every dimension of the tabletop. The typical drop ranges from 8 – 10 inches.
3. A 54-inch wide home décor fabric in cotton or polyester blend is suitable for this project. With accord to the dimensions you determined in the 1st and 2nd step, buy a yardage champagne tablecloth B01CTPMNDA.
4. The fabric should be prewashed and pressed.
5. On the surface of the fabric cutting board, spread out the fabric evenly with the wrong side showing. The board contains guidelines for you to be able to mark and cut the fabric to your determined measurements.
6. You have to tuck the raw edge of the fabric for about ½ inch then again, tuck the same edge one more time.
7. The hem of the tablecloth should be pinned into place and position the pins in a perpendicular manner to fabric’s edges.
8. Sew the tablecloth hem with the aid of your sewing machine. Raise the sewing machine’s presser foot as you reach a corner and rotate the fabric to keep your stitching line in place. The needle should remain inserted in the fabric as it is being repositioned.
